Waffle Flower Challenge Design Team: Hi

Hello everyone!

Today I wanna show you the card I created for Waffle Flower Crafts August Challenge.

How I get inspired? Yes, from the photo inspiration shown below.

Such a homely living room! It inspired me to create a simple yet cozy card to send some warm wishes.

I used InstaLove Die to make my inlaid die-cutting and stamped the leaves using Loved Stamp Set. For the sentiment, I die cut the ‘H’ and ‘I’ from two different colors of cardstocks using Jumbo Letter HI Die and adhered them with foam squares. A kraft twine bow was added to the right top of the card.

To ‘serve’ a cup of warm wishes, it might be a cup of hot coffee or lemon tea: First, I blended a white cardstock with Ink Dye Daydreaming and You Said What by using sponge daubers, then stamped the image of a cup and the heart from Warm Wishes Stamp Set onto it. I cut out the images and adhered them to the card.

Lastly, the wood grain sequins were added to complete the card.

Now is your turn! Make something new (card, layout, tag, planner spread, etc…) from the inspiration photo. You can still join in the fun even you don't own any Waffle Flower Products. However, you will need to use at least one Waffle Flower product to be eligible to win.

The challenge ends on 25th August 2016.

Happy Crafting!
