After lunch, we headed to Farm In The City 城の农场 at Seri Kembangan. It is the Newest & Largest 'Kampung (Village) Themed' Petting Zoo in Malaysia!!!
Farm In The City is a unique concept that combines the elements of wildlife and nature set in a designed environment of a conservation park. It designed to resemble a typical Malaysian Kampung setting; it provides an opportunity for the young and old to get close to animals and plants. The park is completely free of cages. All the animals are allowed to roam freely in special enclosures which mimic as closely as possible to their natural surroundings. One can feed, touch and play with the more than 100 species of exotic animals within close proximity. Yes, we can feed, touch and play with the animal! I’ll show you the photo later. We went there by refering to Google Map. We thought we went to the wrong place. We U-turned and looked for the signage at the highway but….. At last, we reached Farm In The City. Actually, at first we were at the right place. We just need to go straight to reach the place but we U-turned. It just located beside the highway that makes us easily misread the map.
Initially, I was undecided whether I should bring my boys there because they are not feeling well and I afraid the place was hot. After asking friends that been there before, I decided to go. They highly recommended and said must-go especially with kids. My friends were right. The place was not hot to walk around because of foliage and black canvas along the walkway.

Can you guess how old is this tortoise? For your info (if not mistaken....) This is Aldabra Tortoise from Seychelles. It is 32 years old.

Time for horse riding! Oh dear, I was so worried. I afraid he not dare to try. We already paid for pony ride as it was included in the package. Somemore we had 2 tickets. Baby Hang was too young for the ride and Little had to take two rides. Guess what happen next?

That was the end of our visit in the Farm of the City. An exclusive certificate of attendance was given to Little Ze.
From the moment we purchased ticket till the end of the visit, we were welcomed and existed by their helpful staff. The staff gave good advice on ticketing. We took a Family package and both our parents enjoyed Kids rate. Along the tour, their staffs existed, gave explanations and make sure the kids’ hands always with food for feeding. It's considered worth the price as all the forage to feed the animals are inclusive. Not like other parks, maybe you need to buy for the forage by paying more.

Actually, I’m impressed for a local park. The environment is clean. The animal ‘poopoo’ smell is kept to a minimum. To me, the farm not consider very big but it is more than enough for the kids to explore. They had 11 habitats in the farm, more than 100 exotic animals and some special highlights such as palm size monkey, the world’s smallest species of horse and so forth.
Overall, we have great fun in the farm, especially my boys enjoyed feeding the animals, rabbits and so forth. Little Ze abled to overcome his fear to touch the animals, fishing, and even on a pony ride. Mission accomplished!
Both my boys slept in the car while we heading to our next destination – IKEA. Wow, there was a huge crowd shopping at IKEA during holidays! It was like everything was free. Always long queue at the cashiers. We shopped at IKEA for hours till late evening.
