To celebrate World Car Making Day 2014, Winnie & Walter team were heading up challenges throughout the day. I couldn't join the fun that day. Luckily, we can still post our projects throughout the week until Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:55 p.m.
I was inspired by Lea's On Trend challenge: Camera and Kelly's Unexpected Stamping challenge.
I planned to make some cards last night after the live concert of Harlem but I fall asleep after a tired day. I woke up early in the morning (while my boys still on bed) and made this simple card.
Here's my take:
I extremely love this camera stamp from Evalicious. Don't know why. Then, I used a sentiment for a border. I stamped the sentiment 'oh snap!' around the camera to make a frame or border. I stamped the watercolor wonder with pink, mint and seafoam at the base of the camera. I added the 'Beautiful' die cut cardstock shapes from American Craft Shimelle as my sentiment. Lastly, I embellished the card with some sequins.
I'm entering this card for
Happy World Card Making Day!
Thanks for dropping by!
(Sorry for low quality of the photo as everything was done in a rush!)
What a great idea, to use your sentiment stamp to make a frame for your camera! Love how that even sends another message, aside from your "beautiful" and "smile" sentiments. So glad you found the time to join the fun at Winnie & Walter!
ReplyDeleteThank You so much, Kelly!
DeleteYeah, it was really challenging for me to find some spare time to join in the fun! I made it! I actually managed to create another card but when I wanted to post, the collection was closed! But at least I submitted one! :)
